Computer Applications Technology (CAT) Annual Teaching Plans

An Annual Teaching Plan (ATP) is a document laid out by the Department of Basic Education (DBE), providing teachers guidelines on implementation, the content and skills to be taught. Each Annual Teaching Plan contains a weekly plan for each term, including core concepts, skills and values that should be taught. It outlines the structure and details of a single session. A good teaching plan consists of step-by-step teaching methods, the estimated duration of each segment of teaching, and the resources needed for the session.
