Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement (CAPS)

This is a copy of the CAT CAPS, a policy document introduced by the Department of Education (DOE). This policy is focused on learning and teaching in South African schools. This document will serve as a teaching guide for CAT to ensure that the teacher can produce learners who can identify and solve problems and make decisions using critical and creative thinking.

CAT CAPS features the following:

Content and skills.
Learning outcomes and assessments standards.
The learning programme and guidelines.
It uses a seven-point scale.
