What is a Subject File?
A subject file for a teacher is a collection of resources and materials organized by the specific subject they teach. This could include anything from the CAPS documents, Annual Teaching Plans (ATP), lesson plans, textbooks, worksheets, assessment plan, assessments, handouts, articles, and other relevant materials to the subject including the teacher's Professonal Learning Network (PLN). As a University of Johannesburg ICT student I recognise the need to make use of technology to present myself digitally. This will also help when relevant stakeholders want to see my file while they are not near me. This satisfies the principle of ubiquitous access in education, this means that my subject file will be accessible anytime, anywhere when needed.
